This isn’t about having the perfect response.
It’s a practical tool to help you support (not control) so your teen can uncover their own insights and grow in self-trust.
Designed to help you support your teen after a challenge, disappointment, or tough choice. Instead of lecturing or fixing, you’ll have thoughtful prompts to guide the conversation—so your teen can uncover their own insights and grow stronger in self-trust.

Your teen isn’t broken. They’re learning.
But when they make a choice that backfires or face a disappointment you can’t shield them from, it can be hard to know how to respond. Do you step in and give advice? Stay quiet and hope they figure it out? Most parents feel torn between helping too much and not helping enough.
The truth is, your teen doesn’t need fixing. They need space to reflect and a safe guide to walk alongside them.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor based in Colorado, with over a decade of experience walking alongside teens and families through everything from quiet disconnection to full-blown crisis.
With extensive clinical training in teen development, trauma, attachment, family systems, assessment and treatment planning, and substance use - along with years spent in treatment centers, crisis programs, and community care - I specialize in helping teens who feel lost, angry, or shut down. I also support parents who feel worn out, unsure, or afraid they’re losing their child.
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in a deep respect for each family’s story. This work is personal to me, and I’m here to offer steady support that actually works, without judgment, and with the tools that help families find their way back to each other (and themselves).
