About the trainer
Riley Cochran
LPC · LAC · Denver-Based Clinician
Riley Cochran is a Denver-based licensed therapist who has spent his career working with high-risk youth across inpatient and outpatient settings, home and community-based programs, and some of Colorado's most complex juvenile cases. He built a group practice in Colorado focused on the state's most vulnerable young people, and serves as an expert consultant on high-profile juvenile cases.
But the work behind this training is personal.
After years in the field, one thing became clear: the youth who need the most from us are the same youth that most trainings leave out. The behaviors that are hardest to sit with, the cases that keep clinicians up at night, the moments that leave entire organizations feeling underprepared. Those rarely get talked about in a meaningful way.
This training exists because that gap matters. The clinicians working with Colorado's most at-risk youth deserve practical, honest tools for the situations that textbooks don't cover and standard trainings skip over. Riley built this with that clinician in mind: the one who is already in the room with a kid no one else could reach, trying to figure out what to do next.
